Every family needs deadlines to motivate them once in a while.  Our deadline was today at 10 am.  We had an appraiser come to evaluate our home for a mortgage refinance.  We wanted to put our best face on so we worked hard to clean every surface and do all those little repairs we had procrastinated.   I can’t remember when all of my children had their bedroom clean all at the same time.  When we just had 3 or 4 children I could manage to get the entire house clean all at once.  I’ve since lost that battle and have to settle for most of it clean at once.  We won’t have another deadline like this until next June when my 2nd oldest graduates high school and we have his party,  so today I am going to sit back and enjoy the clean.
